Instructions
Toast your bread.
Meanwhile, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the fruit into a bowl.
Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and the lemon or lime juice.
Spread one quarter of the avocado mixture onto each piece of toast.
Place a slice of tomato or halved cherry tomatoes on each avocado toast.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze and/or sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Serve immediately.
Notes
• I recommend using a sprouted whole grain bread like Knock Your Sprouts Off lower sodium whole grain bread from Aldi or Dave’s Killer Bread. If you follow a gluten-free diet, use a gluten-free bread. Aldi's G-free bread is delicious.
